We found out tonight that someone special in our life indeed has lymphoma cancer, stage 3. This is a type of blood cancer that destroys the white blood cells in the body. So we ask for your prayers as hope and positive thoughts and energy are a powerful serum.
Ironically as is the circle of life, last night I wrote about how our baby is now developing T cells. And now, this person is losing those T cells to cancer.
Hope and willpower are paramount right now. We are using our very own journey as a motivating factor for that person to keep fighting this battle.
Chemotherapy will begin this Wednesday and is scheduled two to four times a week in order to see how things can be curbed. The spleen, liver, and lungs have been affected. Results that came back today indicate the heart is next. The bone marrow biopsy came back negative which means the cancer has not spread to the bones.
